About Me

Jackie Ware
Certified Doula (DONA)
As your birth doula, I draw on my expertise to help you and your family cope with the physical challenges and the emotional highs and lows of pregnancy and birth. I provide informational support to help your family make informed decisions about your healthcare. I'll encourage your family to ask questions of your providers and advocate for your birth, so that when all is said and done, you feel like the captain of your birth, not like a passenger along for the ride.

I support the following births: medicated, unmedicated, home, hospital, VBAC, planned or unplanned c-section, surrogate, and adoptive.
In addition to supporting women during birth, I am a stay-at-home mom. My sons were born in October 2020 and September 2022. After experiencing childbirth first-hand, I've had a passion for birth. I studied Anthropology and American Ethnic Studies at K-State, and I married my high school sweetheart in 2018. I love to travel abroad. So far I've been to Nicaragua, Thailand, Mexico, and Canada. In my free time I like to bake, can, garden, and occasionally read a book or two. (Though I confess, it takes me a month or more to finish a novel.) I am a Child of God and have a passion for raising my boys to honor Him. I almost never wear make-up, I'm a great listener, and I smile way too much! I can't wait to serve your family. <3
